Dr. Norman Pollack
Over the past 42 years, Dr. Norman Pollack has become a leading authority on technology commercialization and intellectual property management. He has been involved in several technology assessments and market research for Fuentek. As an independent consultant since 2002, he has served both university and industry clients. Previously, he directed technology transfer offices at Michigan State University and the University of Cincinnati. Before that, Dr. Pollack was responsible for patent planning and technology infusion (early-stage in-licensing) at The Upjohn Company. Earlier in his career, he managed university collaborations at Diamond Shamrock Corporation, where he also co-invented and patented a series of novel herbicides. He has published papers and presented lectures and tutorials for numerous academic, industrial and professional society audiences throughout his career. Dr. Pollack graduated with a BS degree in chemistry from Ohio State University and earned his PhD in organic chemistry from Wayne State University.
